Course focuses on women, LGBTQ, indigenous dimensions of health, ethnomedicine, epigenetics, etc. within environmental justice and critical political ecology frames.  Indigenous and decolonial methodologies will also figure prominently.  The seminar will have transborder focus and we will look at health equity, social movements, indigenous knowledge on both sides of the border and in the detention center and prison complex as well.
