Tracy Castro-Gill is an award-winning former middle school educator and current PhD candidate writing a dissertation on the intersections of curriculum and retention of educators of Color. They are a co-founder and executive director of Washington Ethnic Studies Now, a 501(c)(4) non-profit advocating ethnic studies and anti-racist education in K-12. Tracy is an introvert who prefers to be at home with their sixteen-year-old, two cats, and two Great Danes, but racial injustice calls them out of their comfort zone and into the human world!
