The Institute for Citizens and Scholars has selected Alina R. Méndez as a 2022 Career Enhancement 6-month Fellow. This fellowship will help Dr. Méndez finish her book manuscript titled Border Braceros: Migration, Farm Labor, and Social Reproduction in the Imperial Valley-Mexicali Borderlands, 1942-1969.
