Submitted by Charlie Barnett on

Join us as our very own Oliver Rollins along with Dr. Bianca Dang from UW's history department run a graduate school prep workshop on October 20th from 1:00 to 3:00 Pm in the student union building (HUB.) Upper classmen in their undergraduate years are encouraged to attend as Professor Rollins and Dr. Dang dive into topics such as:

  1. Creating graduate application checklists & understanding the requirements for each major
  2. Grad school funding options
  3. Making letters of recommendation from faculty advisors
  4. Composing effective application materials

Overall, the AES Grad School Prep seminar aims to help students with the admissions process for those who are seriously interested in pursing a master or PHD in humanities or social sciences. Space is limited, so students must RSVP here using the google form in order to reserve a spot.  We hope to see you there!
