As part of Film Quarterly’s ongoing retrospective, “Asian American Film @ 50,” AES’s Vince Schleitwiler joined acclaimed filmmakers Roddy Bogawa, Shu Lea Cheang, and Rea Tajiri, along with the legendary critic and curator Daryl Chin and FQ editors B. Ruby Rich and Brian Hu for a live-streamed discussion on July 5, 2020. The event grew out of a roundtable organized and edited by Schleitwiler, Tajiri, and curator Abby Sun, published in FQ’s Spring 2020 issue. Video of the event is here.
