Come study Swahili with us this Summer and earn 15 Foreign Language Credits. That’s a year’s worth of language credits in one quarter!

Learn to read, write and speak in basic Swahili. You’ll learn more words than “Simba” and “Hakuna Matata!” from Lion King. Yes, we’ll even plan to sing, dance and learn about the people of Eastern Africa where Swahili is spoken.

This class is open to undergraduate and graduate students in all areas of study as well as anyone who is interested in the languages and peoples of the world
