Advanced study of race and ethnicity in a critical and comparative context. Examines social, cultural, historical, political and economic experiences of racialized communities in AES major. Social science theories and methods used to study various topics, including education; migration, refugee, carceral and legal studies; politics and public policy, social movements, global health, and environment.
